WHAT IS GOLFNET?
Golfnet is a joint GUI/ILGU project to establish
an Internet Based Database containing the up-to-date Handicap register
of each member of every Affiliated Club. Golfnet will also handle
the automated return of away scores in Open Competitions to a player's
Home Club.
HOW DO I ACCESS MY HANDICAP REGISTER?
1. Click on the Golfnet link at the bottom of the
page.
2. Type your 8 digit Membership Number (printed on the rear of your
membership card) in the box provided.
3. Type your password in the box provided (for more on passwords,
please see 'About Passwords' section.
About Passwords
The first time you log on to Golfnet you must use
the word 'Golfnet' as your password. You will then be requested to
supply your own password for use when logging on in the future. Your
password should be between 6 and 15 characters. It can contain alphabetic
and numeric characters. It is recommended that you select a password
that is easy to remember and that you write your password in the box
provided above, for future reference.
USING GOLFNET
1. To view your Handicap register, click on 'Member
Handicap'
2. Click the 'Away Records' link below your Handicap Register to view
recent scores recorded outside of your Home Club.
3. At the top right of the screen you will see options to return to
home page('Home'), print ('Print') and logout ('Logout').
