Local Rules
  1. Out of Bounds
    A ball is out of bounds when it is:
    (a) outside the boundary of the course;
    (b) in the clubhouse grounds, putting green, car parks and marked tractor shed
    (c) in or over the following cuttings:

    • (i) to the right of the first fairway

    • (ii) to the right of the eighteenth green

    (d) over the fence posts to the right of the sixteenth fairway

  2. Water hazards - penalty ONE stroke:
    (a) water catchment areas beside the 9th and 10th fairways - rule 26.
    (b) the stream parallel and across the nineth fairway is a lateral water hazard - rule 26.

  3. Pathways, stone drains and direction poles on the course are deemed to be immovable objects - rule 24.2: one club length relief without penalty.

  4. If a ball lies in or touches the impression of a machine track it may be deemed to be "ground under repair"

  5. A ball lying on or within one club's length of a rock on the fairway may be lifted and dropped one club's length clear of the rock, not nearer the hole, without penalty.

  6. Trees - Protection of young trees identified by a stake or white line around the area. If such a tree interferes with a player's stance or the Ares of his intended swing, the ball MUST be lifted without penalty and dropped in accordance with the procedure prescribed in Rule 24.2b.

  7. Sprinkler Heads - where a ball lies within one club's length of a sprinkler head, relief may be taken within one club length, not nearer the hole, without penalty.

  8. Overhead Cables - a ball striking an overhead cable MUST be replayed in accordance with Rule 20.5.
